Keep up with the latest in business technology

The Central Virginia Small Business Development Center is sponsoring and hosting a FREE workshop to educate small businesses about the risks of online scams, hackers, viruses and other vulnerabilities that put their data at risk.

PJ Networks will present a prepared PowerPoint slide show, and then a panel of security specialists and local business owners will be available to answer audience questions.  First Citizens Bank is also sponsoring this event and providing a free lunch for attendees.

SAVE THE DATE and plan to attend an important workshop on June 23:  The Realities of Cyber Risk & the Need for Cyber Security in Small Businesses.  Attendees will:

  • gain a better understanding of security vulnerabilities for small businesses,
  • learn best practices for managing the risk of security breaches and the consequences that can result from them, and
  • take away tips to assess and improve the cyber security of your organization.

There will be plenty of time for Q&A with industry experts and other business owners.  Attendees will leave with methods and tools that can be implemented immediately to protect your business’s customer and business information.

This Cyber security Workshop is FREE for owners and employees of local businesses, including a free lunch provided by First Citizens Bank.
