Between September 22, 2016 and February 18, 2017 passwords, private messages, personal information, and other sensitive data were leaked by the internet company Cloudflare to random requesters. This means that any number of sites using Cloudflare, an information and networking delivery system, could have leaked your password or personal information to hackers, scammers, account thieves, or advertisers.
What does this mean for the average user? If you log into one of the affected websites and have an account with a password, it is a very good idea to change your password ASAP to prevent any potential breach of your personal, private or even business info. Some noteworthy sites using Cloudflare that were effected? Yelp.com, Uber.com, Zendesk.com, Glassdoor.com, Curse.com, Bitdefender Antivirus, Discord, Skype, even Mobile Apps on your phone like Facebook and Twitter, and many more.
